Pierre Charpin designs Hermès Madison Avenue boutique

Hermès hosted a play date of sorts last night at its Madison Avenue boutique. It was here where the famed French luxury company unveiled Pierre Charpin’s schemes for the store’s windows, which will be on display until November 11th. The drab event was part of the brand’s Vitrine D’Artiste program, which asks celebrated artists and designers to create installations based on a theme that it issues annually. This year, the phrase “Let’s Play” was chosen—and it couldn’t have been more apt for Charpin and his body of work.
